Les Vitessa 126 prennent la succession des Bessy, sans changer fondamentalement. On reste sur le principe d'appareils simples utilisant la cartouche 126. Plusieurs combinaisons d'objectif et d'obturateur permettent de proposer une petite gamme de modèles sur la base d'un seul boitier.
Le Vitessa 126 Electronic a un objectif Novar 6,3/40 mm et un obturateur Prontor contrôlé électroniquement, pour des vitesses allant de 1/300 à 10 secondes après sélection de l'ouverture (6,3 ou 11)
La fabrication était assurée par Balda.
